Reconnecting with my childhood crush!

Things didn't work out with Josh, and I was very heart broken for a while, but my life long friend Rachel that I grew up with in South Jordan, had a cousin that also lived in South Jordan for when we were 8 years old, named Chris. I had a huge crush on him when I was younger, he was so cute! Chris didn't live in South Jordan Utah for long though. His family moved to Manti Utah, then eventually moved to Independence Missouri. When we were 15 him and his family came to visit Utah, and they stayed with us for about a week because Kellie(Chris aunt and Rachel's mom) was living with us for a while at the time. It was so much fun, and we really started to like each other a lot, I remember he was so nice and massaged my feet, it was the sweetest thing that any guy had ever done for me at this time in my life. Then the day he left, he left a note on my pillow, it was short and sweet. He just said: "I think I found my reason" Then put the scripture reference of Moroni 10:3-5 about finding out if The Book of Mormon is true, because of the note, I thought he liked me, and I thought I would hear for him, but didn't for another year until we went to visit Todd's mission in Missouri. We stopped by Chris's family house one night for Sunday dinner and I was super excited to see Chris, but he was very office towards me. But then his mom and him took us to the liberty jail and we walked around together and talked and my Dad even snapped a picture of us! So anyways, to make a long story short, we lost contact for 9 years. Until we become friends on Facebook in about 2013 I think it was. We talked a little, but we were both dating someone at the time and I thought he was still inactive from the church. Well I was talking to Rachel one day and she said that her aunt Terri was in town, and so I asked if her cousin Chris was also in town, she said no, but he promised to come to her wedding the next month August 2013 and she also informed me that he was single now, no longer engaged and that he was back in the church. So I got my hopes up and thought maybe something would happen between us. So we started talking more on Facebook and I told him I wanted to hang out with him when he came to Utah, well he ended up asking me out instead of doing a hang out, which was so awesome, and we spend almost everyday together while he was here in Utah which was about a week. It was so amazing to reconnect with him and we hit it off right away and the rest is history!!!
